Israel foils plot to bomb US Embassy
On January 22, Israeli Prime Minister's Office spokesman Ofir Gendelman said Tel Aviv had arrested a group of Al Qaeda-linked militants in East Jerusalem and confirmed that the group was planning to bomb the US Embassy.

On Twitter, Mr. Gendekman said: "Israel has arrested a terrorist cell under the direction of Al Qaeda from East Jerusalem. The group planned to bomb the US Embassy along with other attack plots"./.
