More than 3,000 students from primary, secondary and vocational schools in a large urban area in the northern province of Milan, Italy, were evacuated on the morning of December 17 after receiving an anonymous phone call reporting a bomb.
Police evacuated the schoolchildren, while bomb squads searched the area for explosives. No bombs were found. Italian media reported no panic or panic. An investigation is underway to find the caller and determine the motive.
Also on December 17, the office of Italian Justice Minister Andrea Orlando received a letter containing two AK 47 bullets and an Arabic inscription: "We will go to Rome and behead you." The Rome Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into the incident.
