Jetstar Pacific starts selling 110,000 tickets for Lunar New Year 2013
Low-cost airline Jetstar Pacific said that from October 11, it will open the first ticket sales for travel during the 2013 Lunar New Year. The number of tickets for travel during this year's Tet holiday is 110,000 seats.
However, in this first phase, for flights from the South to the North within 15 days before Tet and from the North to the South within 15 days after Tet, Jetstar Pacific will sell 24,000 seats (800 seats/day), the remaining will continue to be sold in the following phases.
On October 10, at Tan Son Nhat airport, Jetstar Pacific added a new Airbus A320 from Aviation Capital Group Corp (USA). It is known that the airline will officially operate a fleet of all Airbus A320 aircraft. With this Airbus A320 fleet, Jetstar Pacific can provide more than 2,500 seats/week compared to the same number of Boeing 737-400s.
