Currently, Ke Bang has 97 households and 427 people of Thai and Kinh ethnic groups. The majority of whom are Thai ethnic groups. Worried about being "inferior" to other residential areas in the area, in 2005, Ke Bang people unanimously registered to strive to build Ke Bang into a "Cultural Unit". Under the direct leadership of the Party Cell and the Village Management Board, mass organizations have actively promoted their core role. Up to now, 100% of families in Ke Bang have moved their livestock pens out of the floor, there are no more social evils related to drugs, theft, especially the goal of hunger eradication and poverty reduction has been implemented very effectively by Ke Bang people with an average income of 470 thousand VND/person/month. The whole village has 58/97 well-off families with stable lives, 70 households have landline phones, 100% of households have TVs and regularly watch all VTV channels and local stations. 100% of households use the national grid, 100% of households use clean and hygienic water sources.
In the work of encouraging learning, Ke Bang is one of the villages that is evaluated and classified as excellent in the district with the fact that 100% of children of school age are able to go to school, no students drop out of school... In the 2006-2007 school year, there were 114 students at all levels, at the end of the school year, 51 students were recognized as advanced students, including 11 excellent advanced students. There were 26 excellent students at the district level, 2 excellent students at the provincial level, 5 students passed the university - college entrance exam, 1 student entered the secondary school.
