The Criminal Investigation Police Department (Dong Thap Provincial Police) has arrested the especially dangerous wanted criminal Nguyen Minh Hien (born in 1983, residing in My Phu ward, Long Xuyen city, An Giang province) according to Decision No. 02 dated December 30, 2010 of the Investigation Police Agency for the act of robbery.

In October 2010, on National Highway 80, in Binh Thanh Commune (Lap Vo District), Hien and his accomplices blocked the road and used force to beat Mr. Tieu Quy C. (born in 1969, residing in Ward 4, Tra Vinh City, Tra Vinh Province) unconscious to appropriate 1.2 billion VND and 21 taels of 9999 gold.
After dividing the stolen property, Hien fled to Dong Nai province and Ho Chi Minh City until he was arrested.
The Criminal Investigation Department has handed over the suspect Hien to the Criminal Police Department for handling according to regulations./.
