The man who assaulted a medical worker in Nghe An received a prison sentence.

Previously, at 9:30 p.m. on June 21, 2019, at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Quy Chau Medical Center, Vo Tien Dung and Dung's wife assaulted, beat, and injured nurse Nguyen Thi Phuong, forcing her to be transferred to a provincial hospital for treatment and monitoring.

After beating the medical staff, Dung stood in the middle of the medical center gate to urinate, challenging them. The next day (June 22), Dung continued to beat another person in the area, causing them to be hospitalized.

After the investigation and prosecution, the People's Court of Quy Chau district sentenced Vo Tien Dung to 6 months in prison for the crime of "Disturbing public order" (Judgment No. 49/2019/HS-ST).

Previously, Do Luong District Police also prosecuted Nguyen Hoai Nam (born 1986), residing in Hanoi, when Nam assaulted a nurse at Do Luong General Hospital on the evening of May 29, 2016.
