Plan to implement the Law on Marriage and Family
(Baonghean) - On March 11, 2015, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 936/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the 2014 Law on Marriage and Family in Nghe An province as follows:
1. Organize the review of current legal documents related to the Law on Marriage and Family; advise on amending, supplementing or promulgating new legal documents in accordance with the Law on Marriage and Family.
- Presiding agency: Department of Justice advises the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to direct the organization of reviewing and making a list of "legal documents" issued by the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee.
People's Committees of districts, cities and towns direct the organization of reviewing and making a list of legal documents issued by People's Councils and People's Committees at district and commune levels.
- Coordinating agencies: Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations, People's Court, People's Procuracy and other relevant agencies and organizations in the province.
- Implementation period: 2015 and following years.
2.Organize propaganda and dissemination activities on the Law on Marriage and Family:
2.1. Organize training conferences on new points and basic contents of the Law on Marriage and Family for representatives of provincial departments, branches, legal staff, provincial legal reporters, and district justice departments.
a) Implementing agency: Department of Justice presides over and coordinates with Department of Information and Communications, Provincial Radio and Television Station, press agencies, People's Court, People's Procuracy and relevant agencies and organizations.
b)Implementation time: Quarter I, 2015.
2.2. Organize training conferences on new points and basic contents of the Law on Marriage and Family for judicial and civil status officials, civil servants; legal propagandists and mediators at the grassroots level.
a) Implementing agency: The Department of Justice of districts, cities and towns advises the People's Committees at the same level to organize and implement.
b)Implementation time: Quarter I, II, 2015.
2.3. Organize the introduction and dissemination of the basic contents of the Law on Marriage and Family in forms suitable to the actual conditions of the locality and the target audience: compile and publish documents to disseminate and introduce the Law on Marriage and Family; coordinate with press agencies to organize the implementation of columns, programs, news, and articles to disseminate the Law on Marriage and Family and documents guiding its implementation, and disseminate on the grassroots radio system...
a)Implementing unit:
At the provincial level: The Department of Justice presides over and coordinates with the Department of Information and Communications, the Provincial Radio and Television Station, press agencies, the People's Court, the People's Procuracy and relevant agencies and units.
At district level: The Department of Justice shall preside over and coordinate with the district-level Radio and Television Station, the Department of Culture and relevant mass organizations to advise the People's Committee at the same level on organization and implementation.
b)Time of execution: 2015 and beyond.
