Wanted man in sleeper bus caught by traffic police
On November 15, during a patrol, the Working Group of the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Province Police arrested a wanted subject for illegal drug trafficking.
Previously, at around 2:00 p.m. on November 14, while on patrol duty to control traffic at Km1641+800m, Ho Chi Minh Road, in Dun Commune, Chu Se District, Gia Lai Province, Road Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police received a request from Dong Phu District Police (Binh Phuoc Province) to coordinate in arresting the subject.wantedis hiding in the province.
Immediately upon receiving the news, the Working Group consisting of 5 comrades from the Traffic Police Department and 7 comrades from the Mobile Police Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police stopped and checked the suspicious vehicles.
Through inspection, it was discovered that on the sleeper bus with license plate 36B- XXX.XX traveling from Dak Lak to Gia Lai, there was Nguyen Quang Minh (born in 1989, residing in Thuan Loi commune, Dong Phu district, Binh Phuoc province), a wanted subject according to Wanted Decision No. 1175/QDTN-DCSMT, dated August 27, 2024 of the Investigation Police Agency of Dong Phu district, Binh Phuoc province for the crime of illegal drug trafficking.
The Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Province coordinated to hand over Nguyen Quang Minh to the Investigation Police Agency of Dong Phu District Police, Binh Phuoc Province for handling according to regulations.
