(Baonghean) - According to people's farming practices, in intensive peanut cultivation, many types of single fertilizers or other types of NPK fertilizers are being used with nitrogen - phosphorus - potassium nutritional content that is not suitable for the plant. This is one of the main reasons why peanuts grow and develop slowly, are susceptible to pests and diseases, leading to the use of many pesticides and low productivity.

On the other hand, using single fertilizers will be easily washed away and lost, making the fertilizer use efficiency low. Unbalanced and unreasonable fertilization has polluted the ecological environment, making the soil increasingly worse and affecting human health. To limit the above harmful effects and improve production efficiency, using adequate and balanced fertilizers is the number 1 solution and NPK3.9.6 fertilizer specifically for peanuts is the best choice; because NPK not only provides macronutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium but also other medium and trace elements.

Contributing to helping farmers in Nghe An apply NPK3.9.6 fertilizer to peanuts effectively, Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company has cooperated with the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center to build a demonstration model "Applying NPK3.9.6 Lam Thao fertilizer to peanuts in the winter crop of 2012" in Dien Hoa commune, Dien Chau district to evaluate the effectiveness of using NPK3.9.6 synthetic fertilizer specifically for peanuts through growth, development, productivity and economic and environmental efficiency indicators. At the same time, it helps farmers access NPK3.9.6 synthetic fertilizer specifically for peanuts of Lam Thao Fertilizer Joint Stock Company and closed techniques for using NPK Lam Thao fertilizer in intensive peanut cultivation.

Before implementing the model, farmers were given technical guidance, through the standard of 100% support for NPK3.9.6 fertilizer. During the implementation process, households were always instructed by technical staff on how to fertilize peanuts very meticulously and thoughtfully, from the time of fertilization, the amount of fertilizer, ... to the method of fertilization, so farmers did not encounter any difficulties when applying.

After more than 3 months of implementation, the model has brought high efficiency. The model was fertilized with NPK3.9.6 with balanced content, using fertilizer reasonably to achieve high number of fruits/tree, increase gloss, firm fruit and increase commercial value, limit the attack of pests and diseases. Theoretical yield and actual yield in the model field are higher than in the control field. Actual yield in the model field reached 26.9 quintals/ha while in the control field reached 25.7 quintals/ha, the yield of the model field was 1.2 quintals/ha higher than the control field, an increase of 4.7%. With a total investment cost of 31,822,000 VND/ha and a selling price of 35,000 VND/kg, the total revenue was 94,150,000 VND/ha. After deducting costs, the net profit was 62,328,000 VND/ha.

The model has helped people realize the effectiveness of using NPK3.9.6 fertilizer specifically for high productivity and is truly effective compared to mass production. Using NPK3.9.6 Lam Thao only uses one type of mixed fertilizer, simple, easy to apply, does not need to add additional single fertilizers but still gives high efficiency; helps peanuts grow and develop well, limits pests and diseases compared to traditional farming practices of the people. Specialized NPK3.9.6 fertilizer has provided a full and balanced supply of nitrogen - phosphorus - potassium suitable for peanuts, so the plants are strong, have many fruits, firm fruits, give higher yields and improve economic efficiency.
