Outstanding results of the Internal Affairs Bloc in April 2015

(Baonghean.vn) - The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of the Internal Affairs Bloc in April and oriented the key tasks for the following month. Comrade Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

During the month, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the government, the agencies in the Internal Affairs Bloc coordinated to deploy many measures, achieving good results in all aspects of work, seriously and effectively implementing the Notice of Conclusion of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee at the March 2015 Meeting, effectively handling and resolving a number of complicated issues, advising the Party Committee and the government to lead and direct the handling of mass complaints, not allowing passive or unexpected situations to occur; coordinating to absolutely protect the safety of high-ranking delegations of the Party and State visiting and working in Nghe An, political and cultural activities, and major holidays.

In addition, the authorities have implemented many measures, stepped up crime suppression, arrested and handled many large smuggling cases, effectively implemented forest management, development, forest protection and forest product management; fire prevention and fighting work has always been strengthened...

Conference overview

As a result, 139 cases/351 defendants were investigated, 204 cases/72 defendants were transferred to the People's Procuracy at all levels for prosecution; 163 cases/303 defendants were decided to be prosecuted; 1,675 cases of all types were handled by the People's Court at two levels/1,021 cases were resolved.

Regarding civil judgment enforcement, 1,114 cases have been resolved, with the amount of enforcement being over VND 31 billion; 59 socio-economic inspections have been conducted at 86 units, and through inspections, 25/86 units have been found to have violated with a total amount of over VND 1.1 billion; recommendations to recover over VND 951 million have been made, with over VND 748 million recovered for the state budget; complaints and denunciations have been resolved in 32/60 cases under its jurisdiction...

Concluding the conference, comrade Tran Hong Chau highly appreciated the results achieved by the agencies in the Bloc, and emphasized the key tasks in the coming time, which are to continue advising the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to lead and direct internal affairs work to achieve many results, actively contributing to the success of the grassroots Party Congresses, the Congresses of delegates at higher levels and towards the 18th Provincial Party Congress; ensuring national security, social order and safety; improving the effectiveness of investigation, prosecution, trial, enforcement of civil judgments, inspection work, and settlement of complaints and denunciations.
