National High School Exam Results: Exam clusters in Nghe An have more than 600 candidates with failing scores

(Baonghean.vn) - According to the results just announced by the Ministry of Education, in this year's high school exam, exam cluster No. 25 chaired by Vinh University and exam cluster chaired by Nghe An Department of Education and Training had more than 600 candidates with failing scores, and will not be eligible for graduation recognition.

Accordingly, at the examination cluster chaired by Vinh University, 160 candidates failed, of which 140 failed in Math, the rest were spread across Chemistry, Physics, Foreign Languages, and English. At the examination site chaired by the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, although there were only 12,000 candidates taking the exam (equal to 1/3 of examination cluster 25), preliminary statistics showed that 464 candidates failed, concentrated in natural sciences.

The summary also shows that in the local exam cluster, no candidate scored 10 points. However, in exam cluster 25 for the two provinces of Nghe An - Ha Tinh, there were 37 candidates who scored 10 points, including 10 scores of 10 in Math, 21 scores of 10 in Chemistry, 3 scores of 10 in Biology, 2 scores of 10 in Geography and 1 score of 10 in English. The average score distribution of the subjects is quite high, in which the highest is Geography with 9,940/10,854 with an average score of over 5 points (reaching a rate of 91.58%), Physics is 82.3%, Chemistry is 81.53%, Math is 67.56%, History is 66.69%, Biology is 53.1%. In particular, Foreign Language is a compulsory subject with nearly 32,000 candidates taking the exam, but only 3,600 candidates achieved an average score of 5 points or higher (11.57%).

With this result, it is predicted that this year the entrance scores of schools will be higher. In addition, because there are many failing scores, there will be candidates with high scores in the exams but will not pass the university entrance exam because they do not have enough points to be recognized as graduating. It is expected that from August 1, schools will start accepting applications for the first choice.
