(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Department of Finance has just submitted a document to the Provincial People's Committee on the issuance of a Decision regulating the list of usage time, depreciation rate of intangible fixed assets, special fixed assets, and other fixed assets under the management of Nghe An province.
According to this draft decision, the list of fixed assets with a value from 5 million to less than 10 million VND and a usage period of 1 year or more is specifically regulated as follows:
Cars, motorbikes, and other means of transport have a depreciation period of 10 years. Common office equipment and machinery with a 5-year usage period include: desktop computers, laptops, printers, fax machines, spiral punching machines, filing cabinets, scanners, document shredders, money counters, fans, etc.

Air conditioners, safes, water pumps, surveillance cameras, filing cabinets, office desks and chairs for different positions, reception desks and chairs, meeting desks and chairs, air conditioners... have a usage period of 8 years.
The above provisions serve as a basis for agencies, organizations and units to monitor and account for public assets in accordance with the provisions of law on management and use of public assets in accordance with Circular No. 45/2018 of the Ministry of Finance stipulating the regime of management, depreciation and amortization of fixed assets at state agencies, public service units, units of the People's Armed Forces, agencies of the Communist Party of Vietnam, organizations using the state budget (hereinafter referred to as agencies, organizations and units) and fixed assets assigned by the State to enterprises for management, excluding the state capital component in the enterprise.
