End of photo judging for the 19th North Central Art Photography Festival 2012 in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) -As reported, the “19th North Central Region Art Photography Festival 2012” will take place in Nghe An. On September 8, under the chairmanship of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, the Jury conducted a public photo judging at the Nghe An Provincial Library.
The jury consists of 5 members: Photographer Vu Quoc Khanh -President of NSNA.VN Association, President of the Jury; Hoang Kim Dang – NSNA with the title EVAPA HonVAPA;Dao Quang Minh - NSNA title EVAPA/G; Hoang Minh - NSNA title EVAPAandVu Anh Tuan - NSNA, title EVAPA.
The jury (2nd to 6th from left - Vu Anh Tuan, Hoang Kim Dang, Vu Quoc Khanh, Dao Quang Minh and Hoang Minh) and the Organizing Committee.
The Chairman of the Jury voted to select 11 cities to win the prize.
The guiding spirit of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists is to choose quality photos, not photos with a “front” nature, to encourage the creativity of those who love artistic photography. In 1 day of urgency, seriousness, and impartiality, through 6 rounds of judging 1,074 works by 175 authors, the Jury selected 150 photos to display at the exhibition. Of which, 11 official awards include 1 gold award, 2 silver awards, 3 bronze awards, and 5 consolation awards.
On September 9, the Organizing Committee launched a Marathon photo composition contest for authors attending the festival with the theme “Joy and Movement”. The judging will be based on the photo files on the computer at 8:00 p.m. the same day and 6 equal prizes of 1 million VND each will be awarded at the opening ceremony of the Festival on the morning of September 10.
