The exam cheating scandal at Doi Ngo High School ended: 42 people received disciplinary action
The Department of Education and Training of Bac Giang has decided to discipline 42 officials, teachers and staff involved in the exam cheating scandal at Doi Ngo Private High School, Luc Nam District.
Specifically, the Disciplinary Council decided to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Duc Don, Vice Principal of Ly Thuong Kiet High School (Viet Yen District), Chairman of the 2012 High School Graduation Examination Council at Doi Ngo Private High School; not recognize the titles of Principal and Vice Principal of Doi Ngo Private High School for Mr. Dao Van Moc and Mr. Tran Do Hoang; and reprimand Mr. Bui Quang Nghia, Head of the Professional Group of Luc Ngan High School No. 2, Vice Chairman of the Examination Council.
In connection with this incident, 6 teachers and staff of Doi Ngo Private High School were fired; 2 security guards were reprimanded.
23 teachers from Ly Thuong Kiet, Luc Ngan No. 2, Luc Ngan No. 4 and Son Dong No. 2 high schools who were on inspection and supervision duties at the Doi Ngo private high school examination board received disciplinary warnings; 7 teachers were reprimanded.
