Overcoming tornado damage in Muong Tip
(Baonghean) -On the afternoon of April 15, a tornado occurred in Muong Tip commune, Ky Son district, causing the roofs of many houses to be blown off. Currently, authorities at all levels are directing people to overcome the consequences.
The family of Mr. Hoa Pho Hung and Mrs. Hoa Me Hung is one of the most difficult families in Ta Do village, Muong Tip commune. Thanks to the Government's Program 134 on eliminating thatched houses, they were able to build a wooden house that is more solid than the old one. But the tornado blew off the roof and severely damaged the house. Mrs. Hung sadly said: "My family is very difficult, after the tornado the house was damaged, now we don't know what to do to fix it.

The tornado accompanied by heavy rain lasting for 1 hour caused damage to 35 houses in Muong Tip commune, some had broken roofing sheets, some had their roofs blown off. The biggest damage was in Ta Do and Xop Phe villages, fortunately there were no casualties. It is known that on April 9, a similar tornado occurred in this commune, affecting 15 households. Some households had just recovered from the previous tornado but were devastated by the new tornado.
Immediately after hearing the news, the People's Committee of Ky Son district sent a working group to the scene to encourage and assess the damage, and provide timely assistance to help people overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives.
