British tourist takes photo with sex doll at 9/11 memorial

A group of British tourists pose for a photo at the Ground Zero memorial in the US with a sex doll, just before the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The incident happened on September 9, at the Ground Zero 9/11 memorial in Manhattan, New York.Photos taken at the scene showed a man in a group of British tourists holding an inflatable doll and posing in front of the memorial while the rest of the group took photos. This happened just before the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, causing outrage among many people.

Rosanne Hughes, 61, of New Jersey, said she was outraged by the visitors' actions. She lost her husband in the 2001 World Trade Center terrorist attack. She said it was a shame to come to the memorial and take pictures smiling and laughing. It was disrespectful to the dead.

Many New Yorkers also complained about the disrespectful attitude of some visitors to the memorial, including hugging, posing for photos and laughing happily. They could not understand why so many visitors could pose for photos and look happy when standing in front of a mass grave. “Ground Zero is a cemetery and it needs to be respected.”

Michael Frazier, a representative of the memorial, said the images show a disturbing truth about the attitudes and behavior of visitors to an area considered sacred like Ground Zero. Mr. Frazier also said the memorial has posted a code of conduct for visitors to follow while there.

Ground Zero is a memorial to the 3,000 victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, built as two square lakes on the grounds of the World Trade Center in New York.
