Customers do not know the regulation prohibiting phone calls at gas stations!

(Baonghean.vn) -Decree 52/2012/NDCP regulating administrative penalties for violations in the field of fire prevention and fighting, in which the act of using a phone at gas stations is subject to a fine of 2-5 million VND, officially took effect on August 5.

However, walking around gas stations in Vinh city on the afternoon of August 7, I saw many people still carelessly using their cell phones while filling up their gas tanks.

At large gas stations in Vinh city, signs have been posted saying "no cell phone use", but most of the customers who come to fill up their gas do not have a clear understanding of Decree 52/2012 and so accidentally violate it. They are surprised by the penalty for this violation, which ranges from 2 to 5 million VND.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy (Hung Binh ward) was filling up with gas while talking on the phone at a gas station on Minh Khai street. She said: because she did not know about the ban on using cell phones at gas stations, she accidentally violated the law. She will learn from her experience.

A gas station employee in Thai Hoa Town said: I also just heard about the regulation on punishing people who talk on the phone while filling up gas, but I don't know how to handle it, just reminding them to learn from experience!
