Underground hotels attract visitors on Valentine's Day
The deepest underground hotel, located in the forest, away from the capital Stockholm, Sweden is an interesting destination for couples as Valentine's Day is approaching.
Many tourists from all over the world have signed up to experience a night in an underground hotel, completely isolated from the outside world. Life in this underground hotel will not have toilets and showers. However, it is not less attractive to tourists.
Thousands of people have stayed overnight here since it opened in 2006. This place has produced a lot of silver for centuries, from the 15th century and became the most profitable silver mine in the world. In 1962, when the silver ran out, it immediately became a tourist attraction.

“If you come here to relax, it’s like you’re taking a retreat, it will help you regain your balance. The space here is especially quiet and relaxing,” said Maaike Ouwehand, the hotel’s tour operator.
Above ground there is a building and a small museum about the golden age of this land. Visitors can visit and take the elevator down to a depth of 155m underground to enter the hotel.
In particular, there is also an underground lake, about 30m wide and very deep, suitable for tourists who love diving. The cost of one night is about 652 USD: a free fruit basket and 24-hour security in case of emergency. Currently, hotel rooms on Valentine's Day 14/2 are fully booked.
