Opening of summer swimming class 2015 in Anh Son district

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 8, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union held a launching ceremony for swimming classes for children in the summer of 2015 in Anh Son district.

Attending were comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung, Provincial Party Committee member - Provincial Youth Union Secretary.

This is the second consecutive year that Anh Son District Youth Union has coordinated with the Department of Education and the District Cultural Center to organize swimming classes for children.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union presented 20 life jackets to the children participating in the class.

This swimming class is attended by 50 children from 8 to 15 years old from Cam Son commune. During the 10-day period from July 8 to July 18, the children will be equipped with knowledge on: preventing accidents and injuries, especially drowning accidents; swimming skills; first aid skills when accidents occur... helping them improve their health, perfect their life skills to protect themselves and prevent drowning accidents.

The children are given specific instructions on swimming techniques by the teacher.

This is one of the fun and useful activities for children, creating an interesting summer vacation for them. At the same time, promoting the movement of teaching and learning swimming in the whole district, effectively implementing the work of managing and educating children and students during the summer with the goal of "Safe and useful summer".

On this occasion, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union presented 20 life jackets to children participating in swimming lessons in Anh Son district./.
