Opening Vietnamese class for 40 Lao students
(Baonghean.vn) - On May 22, Thong Thu Border Post, Nghe An Border Guard said: the unit has just coordinated with the Department of Education of Sam To district, Hua Phan province (Laos), the Department of Education of Que Phong district and the Management Board of Nam Tay village to organize the opening of a Vietnamese language class for cadres, people and students in Nam Tay village, Vieng Phan village cluster, Sam To district, Hua Phan province, Laos.

The class had 40 participants, taught directly by officers of Thong Thu Border Post. Senior Lieutenant Ngo Van Thien, Deputy Political Commissar of Thong Thu Border Post, said: The class aims to concretize the content of the signing of the agreement between Thong Thu Border Post (Nghe An Border Guard, Vietnam) and Border Guard Company 216 (Hua Phan Province Military Command, Laos) signed on November 12, 2014; The class also aims to equip Vietnamese communication knowledge for officers, people and students in Nam Tay village, contributing to improving the effectiveness of working relations and exchanging goods and visiting relatives of residents on both sides of the border.
According to the schedule, the class is expected to last 3 months, and will be held every Monday and Wednesday.
