Opening of the Mid-Autumn Festival program to explore Southeast Asia
On the morning of September 14, the Mid-Autumn Festival program "Explore Southeast Asia" was officially opened at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology with the participation of many children and tourists.
Children enjoyed traditional games on the opening day.
The Mid-Autumn Festival program, Discover Southeast Asia, takes place on September 14 and 15 with many activities imbued with traditional culture such as: Instructions on making Mid-Autumn Festival toys, star lanterns, lanterns, masks... from leaves, paper, clay, flour; demonstration of making green rice, making moon cakes; organizing folk games; traditional art performances of water puppetry, lion dance, singing nursery rhymes...; instructions on making and introducing traditional dishes during Mid-Autumn Festival...
Children enthusiastically participated in making traditional toys.
Also on this occasion, children will participate in many activities to explore the rich and unique cultures of Southeast Asian countries such as Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, etc. through games to learn about national anthems, national flags, currencies, and greetings; explore cultural heritage through images; traditional art performances; and traditional dishes with the characteristics of each country.
