Opening of the National "Youth Creativity" Festival

More than 40 research topics and scientific works were honored at the National "Youth Creativity" Festival held at the Youth Cultural House on November 8 and 9.

Many research works of students were introduced at the "Young Creativity" Festival in 2014.

On November 8, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union opened the 7th National “Youth Creativity” Festival. This is an activity within the series of programs summarizing the “Year of Youth Volunteers - 2014” to encourage and motivate union members and young people to promote initiatives, creative ideas, master science and technology to build the country. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to encourage and honor individuals and groups with outstanding works, topics and creative products nationwide in 2014.

In particular, from hundreds of projects, topics and products submitted to the contest, the Organizing Committee selected 40 topics and products to be honored at the Festival such as: Research on the mosquito repellent ability of cream made from essential oils collected by microwave method by student Truong Ngoc Bao Han (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology), Handheld blood oxygen saturation meter (SpO2) by R&D Center - AMEC Technology Company (Hanoi), Research on engine improvement and fuel-efficient vehicle manufacturing by the Union of Electrical - Mechanical Faculty, Hai Phong University...

The Organizing Committee representative said that the 7th National “Youth Creativity” Festival was held to affirm the determination of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in approaching and solving the needs of young people in a scientific way, designing and organizing revolutionary action movements suitable to real life, with the legitimate interests and noble aspirations of young people, creating an environment and favorable conditions for young people to be creative, contribute and mature.
