(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 16, 2014, the Vinh City Fatherland Front Committee organized a volleyball tournament with parishes in Vinh City and gave gifts to 43 poor parishioners on the occasion of Christmas.

The volleyball tournament had 63 athletes from 7 teams from parishes in Vinh city and the team of the city's Fatherland Front Committee. The teams competed in a round robin format. The athletes showed their sportsmanship and played enthusiastically with beautiful moves.

On this occasion, the Vinh City Fatherland Front Committee has taken from the city's fund for the poor to support 43 poor Catholic families with especially difficult circumstances, each with 1 million VND. Thereby, helping Catholic families to have a peaceful and happy Christmas.
