Opening of Vinh - League 2015 grassroots football tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 21 & 22, at Hung Phuc Stadium (Vinh City), the matches of the first round of the Vinh - League 2015 amateur football tournament for the Chuong Duong Cup took place.
This is also a large-scale and professional tournament (with promotion and relegation) since the Nghe An Amateur Football Association was established.

The Vinh - League amateur football tournament was held for the third consecutive time, attracting the participation of 11 of the strongest amateur football clubs in Nghe An and Ha Tinh, including: defending champions FC Van Minh, FC Monkey, FC U38, FC Free Thanh Co, FC Chuong Duong, FC Quang Vinh, FC 57, FC Hung Linh, FC An Thinh, FC Fire, FC Café Y Lan, FC Hieu Giang.
The special thing about the tournament is that the Organizing Committee encourages the teams to add professional players to compete to increase the quality of the tournament. Therefore, at the tournament, you will see many former football stars of SLNA such as Van Quyen, Hai Nam (FC Chuong Duong) Huy Hoang (FC Free Thanh Co), Phan Thanh Hoan (FC Hieu Giang), TM Duc Anh (FC 57) Nguyen Tan Thinh, Dinh Duy... who are playing for football clubs participating in the tournament. Not to mention the countless faces who used to play for QK4 team such as Anh Thang, Van Lam... who participate in amateur football to satisfy their passion for the round ball.

Matches within the Vinh League are held every Saturday and Sunday in a round-robin format. After 11 rounds, the champion team will receive a Cup, flag and 20 million VND in prize money; the second and third place teams will receive 10 million VND and 5 million VND respectively. This year, there will be 2 teams relegated and 2 teams promoted for the next season.
