Opening of the 11th Nghe An Television Cup Student Football Tournament

This afternoon (March 23), at QK4 Stadium, the opening ceremony of the 11th Nghe An Television Cup Student Football Tournament 2013 took place. Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station, representatives of QK4 leaders, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, and tournament sponsors.

(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon (March 23), at QK4 Stadium, the opening ceremony of the 11th Nghe An Television Cup Student Football Tournament 2013 took place. Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station, representatives of QK4 leaders, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, and tournament sponsors.

This year, the Nghe An – Hu Da Student Football Cup has 9 participating teams: Vinh University, Vinh University of Technical Education, Van Xuan University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, Nghe An College of Economics and Technology, Central College of Transport, Viet Duc Technical Vocational College, Vietnam – Korea Industrial Technical Vocational College and Viet Anh Secondary School. The teams are divided into 3 groups to compete in a round robin, selecting the top 3 teams in each group and the best second team to compete in the next round.

Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Director of Radio and Television Station - Head of the Organizing Committee read the opening speech.

The tournament has 9 teams from colleges and universities located in the province participating.

After the opening ceremony is the match between Vinh University and Van Xuan University.

Many fans are students from schools who came to cheer for the tournament.

With the aim of developing the sports movement among students, creating conditions for students of colleges and universities to increase sports activities, physical training, exchange and study, and promote football talents among students, this is the 11th year that Nghe An Radio and Television Station has coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Youth Union to organize this traditional football tournament.

Over 10 consecutive years, the Tournament has truly created a healthy and beneficial playground, strengthening solidarity and cohesion between schools.
