Opening of the 6th Huda Cup Student Football Tournament of Nghe An Radio and Television Station in 2012

(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, April 21, at the Military Zone 4 Stadium - Vinh City, the Opening Ceremony of the Final Round of the 6th Huda Cup 2012 for North Central Province Student Football Tournament was held by Nghe An Radio and Television Station in coordination with Hue Beer Company Limited, the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Military Training Department - General Staff of Military Zone IV from April 21 to 29.

This is a traditional annual award to practically celebrate the 37th anniversary of the April 30 victory, International Day May 1, and the 122nd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.

The tournament has 8 teams, divided into 2 groups. Group A includes 4 teams: Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports, Vinh University of Technical Education, Hue Industrial College and Ha Tinh University; Group B includes 4 teams: Vinh University, Da Nang University of Technology, Quang Binh University and Hue University. The groups compete in a round robin to select the top 2 teams to enter the quarter-finals.

Before the opening ceremony, two matches took place in the morning and early afternoon. The first match result, in group A, Hue Industrial College and Ha Tinh University tied 0-0; in group B, Hue University overwhelmingly won Quang Binh University with a score of 4-0.

After the opening ceremony this afternoon, the match between Vinh University and Da Nang University of Technology in Group B was broadcast live by NTV, attracting a large number of fans to cheer. In the first half, although Vinh University at home took the initiative to enter the game quickly, as the match progressed, Da Nang University of Technology regained balance and the two teams accepted a 0-0 draw. At the beginning of the second half, Da Nang University of Technology scored the first goal in a quick attack. It was not until the end of the match that Vinh University leveled the score 1-1. The final match will take place at 3:30 p.m. on April 29 at Military Zone 4 Stadium.
