Opening of the first Youth Football Tournament - Vida Beer Cup

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of May 16 at Vinh Technical University Stadium (Vinh City), Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized the first Vida Beer Cup Youth Football Tournament in 2014.

The tournament attracted 250 athletes who are youth union members, civil servants and public employees from 13 teams, including 6 provincial-level department and industry teams, 3 colleges and universities in Vinh City and 4 districts and cities.

Teams compete according to the 7-a-side football regulations on artificial turf. After the qualifying round, based on their performance, they will enter the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.

Right after the opening ceremony is the opening match between the home team Vinh University of Technical Education and the Nghe Tinh Reserve Department Team and the match between the Department of Planning and Investment and Nghe An College of Education.The Vida Beer Cup Youth Football Tournament will take place from May 16 to May 24.

Along with the Opening Ceremony, the Organizing Committee and Sponsors also presented gifts to poor students in Vinh City with outstanding academic achievements, and called on youth union members to participate in supporting the fund "For the sea and islands of the homeland".
