Opening of Nghe An Newspaper Open Badminton Tournament 2012

(Baonghean.vn) –Celebrating the 51st anniversary of the first issue of Nghe An Newspaper (November 10, 1961-2012), this morning, November 2, Nghe An Newspaper opened the 2nd Open Badminton Tournament 2012.

Attending the event were leaders of the provincial Party Committee, the provincial Party Committee, Nghe An Newspaper Printing House, Nghe An Newspaper and athletes. AIA Life Insurance Company (Vietnam) is the main sponsor of the tournament.

In 2011, the Nghe An Newspaper badminton tournament was held for the first time on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the first issue of the newspaper, marking an important milestone in the agency's sports movement. In 2012, Nghe An Newspaper continued to host the Open Badminton Tournament as part of activities to celebrate the 51st anniversary of its establishment.

This year's tournament was organized on a larger scale, with a larger number of athletes, with 38 athletes from 9 teams of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Party Committees, Traffic Hospital 4 and Nghe An Newspaper, including ages over and under 40, both male and female.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the teams entered the qualifying round.
