Opening of the 10th traditional badminton tournament

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning (September 27), at Vinh City Gymnasium, the Party Committee of Nghe An Province's Business Bloc held the opening ceremony of the 10th Traditional Badminton Tournament, 2012. Attending the opening ceremony were leaders of the Party Committee, companies and businesses under the Party Committee.

This year’s tournament attracted nearly 300 athletes from 34 companies and enterprises under the Party Committee. Over the two days from 27-28, athletes will compete in 6 age-group categories of badminton. This tournament is to celebrate the 16th anniversary of the establishment of the Party Committee of the Enterprise Sector (October 3, 1996 - October 3, 2012) and the 67th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13, 1945 - October 13, 2012).

The matches took place immediately after the opening ceremony of the tournament.

The tournament is an opportunity to promote physical training, strengthen the spirit of solidarity and mutual learning among enterprises under the Party Committee, contributing to the excellent completion of the 2012 plan.
