Opening of Nghe An Province Family Sports Tournament 2012

(Baonghean.vn) -On the evening of September 14, the opening ceremony of the 2012 Nghe An Province Family Sports Tournament took place in Vinh City. Attending the opening ceremony were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leaders of the Culture and Sports Centers of districts, cities and towns across the province.

The men's doubles matches took place immediately after the opening ceremony.

This year’s Family Sports Tournament attracted 130 athletes who are members of 65 excellent sports families from 19 districts, cities and towns across the province. The athletes will compete in two sports: badminton and table tennis.

The provincial family sports tournament aims to encourage physical exercise for the health of generations in each family, contributing to building cultural families, cultural villages, cultural neighborhoods; maintaining and promoting solidarity, evaluating the physical exercise of families in response to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" in the period of 2012-2020.

The tournament takes place over two days from September 14 to 15.
