Opening of the 2nd Nghe An Television Cup Tennis Tournament 2014

(Baonghean.vn)-Welcoming the 69th anniversary of August Revolution, National Day September 2 and looking forward to the Congress to establish the Nghe An Province Tennis Federation, on the morning of August 16, Nghe An Radio and Television Station coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Education and Training and the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to organize the opening ceremony of the 2nd Nghe An Television Cup Tennis Tournament associated with the campaign "Support to school" for the 2014-2015 school year.

Provincial leaders and the Organizing Committee presented flowers to the sponsor.

The 2nd Nghe An Television Cup Tennis Tournament attracted 340 athletes from 32 administrative agencies and 76 enterprises. Notably, this year's tournament, in addition to 100% of the clubs in the province, also had the enthusiastic participation of clubs from Ha Tinh City, Vietnam Television, Hanoi Beer and Cienco 4... In particular, associated with the 2nd Nghe An Television Tennis Cup is the campaign "Support to go to school" for the 2014-2015 school year to help poor students in remote border areas with books, school supplies, and build houses and boarding kitchens for them.

Responding to the appeal letter of the Provincial People's Committee, before the opening of the tournament, the Organizing Committee received 1,513,770,000 VND and construction works, tables, chairs, books, and clothes with a total value of 952,750,000 VND registered by units, businesses, and philanthropists to be donated directly to schools and students.

The matches took place immediately after the opening ceremony of the tournament.

The tournament will take place in 3 days from August 15 to 17, with the support of Diamond sponsors: Construction Corporation 4 and Hanoi Beer, Alcohol and Beverage Corporation; Silver sponsor: Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development, Nghe An branch, Trung Do Joint Stock Company and other co-sponsors.
