Opening of the 2025 National Jujitsu Championship in Nghe An
On the morning of September 18, at Nghe An Provincial Sports Stadium, the Vietnam Sports Administration, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An Province and the Vietnam Jujitsu Federation jointly organized the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 National Jujitsu Championship.

The tournament was attended by 200 officials, coaches and athletes from 17 provinces, cities and sectors across the country.
Athletes compete in Newaza Gi, Newaza NoGi, Fighting and Contact in weight classes from 56 kg to 94 kg for men's singles and 45 kg to 70 kg for women's singles. 3 Duo Show events and 3 Duo Classic events for men's and women's doubles.

The 2025 National Jujitsu Championship held in Nghe An is one of the important sporting events, to honor the martial spirit and the desire to win, and is an opportunity for the Vietnam Jujitsu Federation and the National Team Coach to select and prepare excellent athletes to train to participate in the SEA Games, ASIAD and international tournaments in the coming time.
For Nghe An, although this sport has just been established at the provincial high-performance sports team level, it has achieved some encouraging results. Hosting the tournament is an opportunity to introduce a new sport to the audience to promote the practice of this martial art.

Although it has only been introduced to Vietnam for about 10 years, Jujitsu has had quite an impressive development. This is a martial art that combines technique, strength and intelligence, symbolizing martial spirit, resilience and indomitable spirit. Currently, Jujitsu is being invested in and developed by provinces and cities, including Nghe An, and included in the annual national competition program.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the athletes entered the competition. The 2025 National Jujitsu Championship in Nghe An took place over a week from September 18-23.
