Opening of the 2nd Vietnam International Tourism Fair

On the morning of April 3, the second Vietnam International Travel Mart VITM opened at the Hanoi Exhibition and Fair Center.

With the theme: "Stimulating tourism - New destinations, new opportunities and Responsible tourism for sustainable growth", this fair has 508 booths, including 154 international booths of businesses from 22 countries around the world such as Russia, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Germany, France, Korea, Japan.

Up to now, Hanoi VITM - Hanoi 2014 is considered the largest tourism fair in Vietnam. This is an opportunity for travel companies to offer discounted tours, with about 8,000 tours discounted up to 60%. It is expected that 3,000 businesses will come to work at the fair and about 50,000 visitors will come to visit.

Many local specialties are brought to the Fair.

In addition, many press conferences, conferences and international seminars will be held to discuss tourism development strategies and share experiences between domestic and international businesses. Within the framework of the Fair, there will also be a forum “Meeting the Tourism Ambassador Candidates” to find a new Ambassador of Vietnam Tourism.
