Opening of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting
On the morning of April 26, the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting (AMM) opened at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, Malaysia.

According to a VNA reporter in Kuala Lumpur, the Foreign Ministers of all 10 countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) attending the conference included Mr. Lim Jock Seng, Hor Namhong (Cambodia), Ms. Retno LP Marsudi (Indonesia), Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith (Laos), U Wunna Maung Lwin (Myanmar), Albert del Rosario F (Philippines), K. Shanmugam (Singapore), Tanasak Patimapragorn (Thailand) and Minister Pham Binh Minh of Vietnam.
The conference is expected to focus on discussing issues on the ASEAN Community, building the ASEAN Community Vision after 2015 and related documents, as well as progress in building the Code of Conduct in the East Sea (COC) to resolve disputes in the region.

The AMM is the opening event of the 26th ASEAN Summit, taking place on April 26 and 27. According to the schedule, along with the AMM, other conferences such as the 13th ASEAN Economic Ministers-EU Trade Commissioner Consultation, the 12th ASEAN Political-Security Community Council Meeting, the 16th ASEAN Coordinating Council Meeting, and the ASEAN Leaders' Forum will also take place on April 26.
