Opening of the Provincial Political Teaching Competition

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 15, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held the opening ceremony of the 2017 Provincial Political Teaching Competition for Political Commissars of Communes, Wards and Towns.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Political Department of Military Region 4; Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Tran Van Hung - Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Lieutenant Colonel Thai Duc Hanh - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; representatives of affiliated agencies and units.

Implementing the plan of the Provincial People's Committee; districts, towns and cities in the whole province have successfully organized the Competition for Political Commissars of Communes, Wards and Towns at their level, selecting 42 outstanding Political Commissars of the Military Commands of Communes, Wards and Towns to participate in the provincial competition.

In this provincial competition, each contestant will participate in 3 categories (Political lecture writing contest; Lecture practice contest; Awareness contest). Contestants will practice writing and teaching one of the lessons in the political education program for the Militia and Self-Defense Forces from 2012-2016.

Thereby, to improve awareness, capacity and political teaching methods for political officers of communes, wards and towns; contributing to the good implementation of national defense tasks and local military work at the grassroots level.

At the same time, through the contest, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Military Command and local Party committees and authorities can correctly assess the current status of political teaching quality of local cadres, promptly foster military - defense knowledge and political teaching skills, ensuring better quality in the following years.
