Opening of the 2018 Competition for Innovation, Model Improvement, Teaching Aids and Equipment

Participating in the contest were 14 teams including: 3 Infantry Regiments, 7 affiliated Battalions and 4 companies of military branches under the General Staff Department and Technical Department, with a total of 180 initiatives, model improvements, and teaching aids for the Army Logistics sector.

Through the contest, the quality of initiatives, model improvements, teaching aids and equipment serving logistics training in 2018 will be evaluated. Thereby, lessons will be drawn, policies and measures will be proposed to lead and direct the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of initiatives, model improvements, and to meet the requirements of military logistics training tasks in the coming time.

At the same time, select initiatives and improvements in quality teaching aid models to participate in the Military Region-level competition with good results.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the 335th Infantry Regiment for the Regimental Block. For the Battalion Block, the 24th Medical Battalion won the first prize; the second prize went to the 17th Engineer Battalion.
