Opening of the Costume Show Contest of the 3 ethnic groups Kinh-Khmer-Hoa

As part of the series of activities of the first Mekong Delta Ngo Boat Racing Festival in Soc Trang in 2013, on the evening of November 11, at 30-4 Square, Soc Trang City, the Festival Organizing Committee opened the Costume Performance Contest of the three ethnic groups Kinh-Khmer-Hoa.

The competition had over 50 contestants from different localities performing in the categories of daily wear, traditional wear and festival wear. In the first performance, 15 contestants from different localities, units and schools performed quite impressive types of costumes, imbued with the traditional cultural features of each ethnic group.

The Organizing Committee is expected to award 1 first prize; 1 second prize; 2 third prizes and 10 consolation prizes; in addition, there will be additional prizes including the best national costume, the contestant with the most lovely face, the contestant with the most beautiful body, the contestant with the most impressive performance style, etc.
