Opening of the 10th session - People's Council of Quynh Luu district, term XVIII

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 17, the People's Council of Quynh Luu district, term XVIII, held its 10th session to evaluate the implementation of socio-economic, defense and security tasks in the first 6 months of the year; and plans and solutions for the implementation of tasks in the last 6 months of 2014.

Overview of the opening session

According to the report presented at the meeting, in the first 6 months of 2014, Quynh Luu's socio-economic development continued. The economic growth rate reached over 10%. The total production value reached nearly 4,000 billion VND, equal to 51.09% of the plan. The economic structure of agriculture, forestry and fishery is estimated at 44.28%; industry - construction 28.92%; services 26.80%. The average added value per capita reached 12.26 million VND. The state budget revenue is estimated at nearly 390 billion VND, equal to 61% of the plan. Investment is concentrated in 66 projects in the area, with an implemented value of 137 billion VND. Culture - society has many positive changes, political security is stable...

This session will approve 9 reports: Report on the results of the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security in the first 6 months of the year, tasks and solutions in the last 6 months of 2014; Report on the revenue and expenditure situation in the first 6 months of the year, estimated revenue and expenditure in the last 6 months of 2014; Report on the 2013 budget settlement; Report on the work of crime prevention, social evils and traffic safety in the first 6 months of the year, tasks in the last 6 months of 2014; Report on the activities of the People's Council in the first 6 months of the year and key tasks in the last 6 months of 2014; Approve the activities of the district Fatherland Front Committee participating in government building and opinions and recommendations to the People's Council, People's Committee, and delegates of the district People's Council; Report on the verification of the Economic-Social Inspection Committee of the district People's Council; Report on the verification of the Legal Committee of the district People's Council and the results of the 11th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council.

On the afternoon of July 17 and morning of July 18, the meeting will conduct group discussions, question and answer sessions in the hall; discuss and pass resolutions.

As planned, the 10th session of the 18th Quynh Luu District People's Council will end at noon on July 18.
