The Sen Village Festival takes place over three days (May 17-19, 2014) at two locations: Vinh City and Nam Dan District with diverse, meaningful activities such as: pilgrimage to Uncle Ho's hometown, procession of Uncle Ho's portrait, offering flowers, incense, reporting to Uncle Ho at Ho Chi Minh Square and Kim Lien Relic Site. The festival is carried out with diverse activities, imbued with traditional folklore such as: Sen Village Singing Festival; volleyball competition; screening of films about Uncle Ho; photo exhibitions about the Party, Uncle Ho, Uncle Ho's feelings for his homeland; Youth camp; Kite flying and swinging competitions... The festival and Sen Village Singing Festival will be concluded on the evening of May 19.

Also in Kim Lien commune, from May 17 to 19, Nghe An Museum in collaboration with Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum organized a photo exhibition on the theme of the Party and Uncle Ho. The exhibition is divided into two themes: "President Ho Chi Minh and the issue of Party building and rectification" and "Nghe Tinh Soviet in 1930-1931."
