Opening of the 5th Traffic Safety Film Festival and the 17th Nghe An Radio and Television Festival

(Baonghean.vn) -Towards the National Traffic Safety Film Festival and the 32nd National Television Festival, this morning, September 20, Nghe An Radio and Television Station coordinated with the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Traffic Safety Film Festival to hold the opening ceremony of the 5th Traffic Safety Film Festival 2012 and the 17th Nghe An Radio and Television Festival.

This is a professional activity, a traditional festival of Nghe An radio and television journalists. Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee attended and spoke at the opening ceremony.

The festival will take place over 5 days (from September 20 to 24), with the participation of 32 units in the province; there are 206 entries (including 26 entries for the 5th Traffic Safety Film Festival 2012, 88 radio entries and 90 television entries); On the first day, the jury will judge and watch television entries on the topic of traffic safety, then watch public works and exchange professional expertise. The festival will select outstanding entries to participate in the National Traffic Safety Film Festival and the 32nd National Public Works Festival to be held in Vinh City this December.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien praised the dynamism, creativity, and sense of responsibility of the units whose works participated in the Festival; He requested the provincial press agencies to continue to propagate to all people to raise awareness of traffic law compliance; the quality of traffic safety columns, and the building of traffic culture in the community.
