Opening of Central Highlands Cultural Days in Hanoi

“Central Highlands - Cultural Colors” is the theme of the Opening Ceremony of the Second Central Highlands Cultural Days in Hanoi, which took place on the evening of August 28.


The activity is organized on a large scale to introduce cultural values, strong vitality, and the longevity of the Central Highlands identity in Vietnamese national culture; honor the tangible and intangible cultural values ​​of the Central Highlands ethnic groups; exploit and develop the economy and tourism on the basis of traditional culture.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho Anh Tuan emphasized that this is also an opportunity to recreate in the most authentic and vivid way the land and culture of the Central Highlands with the enthusiasm of the Central Highlands people; the hearts and feelings of the people of the capital Hanoi and the whole country for the Central Highlands.


Mr. Tuan affirmed that the Central Highlands Cultural Days in Hanoi will bring the geographical distance closer, promote the economic and social development of the Central Highlands provinces and the capital Hanoi; create more colors of Central Highlands culture to shine and sparkle in the capital Hanoi.



The opening program of the Central Highlands Cultural Days in Hanoi introduces to the public of the capital and tourists a comprehensive program featuring the Central Highlands culture with gong performances called "Convergence", knah Drông tue gong performance (welcoming guests and offering wine), Bahnar ethnic musical instrument concert, performance of costumes of Central Highlands ethnic groups, Xoang solidarity circle...

Along with the exhibition, fair introducing and selling specialties, agricultural products, handicrafts, tourism products imbued with the Central Highlands to serve the public is the discussion "Preserving and promoting the unique and diverse cultural values ​​of the Central Highlands" and many special cultural and artistic exchange programs such as: Central Highlands - Unforgettable years, Echoes of the Central Highlands...


On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also took time to organize for people to offer incense and report their achievements at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum; visit the Common House of the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi; and exchange with the Mong (Son La) and Muong (Thanh Hoa) ethnic communities./.
