Opening of the Literary Creation Camp on the topic of North Central Transport

(Baonghean.vn) - Towards the 70th anniversary of the traditional day and the Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Vietnam Transport sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2015), this morning (June 25), in Cua Lo town, the Ministry of Transport in coordination with the Vietnam Writers Association organized the opening ceremony of the Literature Creation Camp on the topic of Transport in the North Central region.

The organizers gave gifts to writers and poets participating in the writing camp.

The purpose of opening a literary creation camp is to organize for writers and poets to learn and penetrate the reality of key State projects in the field of transport and key transport projects in localities so that writers and poets can create works that breathe life; meet some historical witnesses of the transport sector to create works about the boundless sacrifices of collectives and individuals in the transport sector, and Youth Volunteers of Transport in the fights against foreign invaders, for national independence, national unification and in building socialism, which have become shining symbols of Vietnamese revolutionary heroism in the Ho Chi Minh era.

After the opening ceremony, writers and poets will visit some historical sites in Nghe An and Ha Tinh, meet heroic Youth Volunteers of the Transport sector who are currently living in Vinh City and some transport projects that have been and are being constructed by the transport sector such as Truong Bon, General Secretary Le Hong Phong Memorial Area, etc.
