Opening of the 26th National Art Photography Exhibition
More than 260 outstanding works are on display at the 26th National Art Photography Exhibition, which opened on October 10 at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts.
The above works were selected from 6,839 works sent to the Organizing Committee; of which 82 black and white photos and 181 color photos, by 201 authors from 48 provinces and cities were selected for exhibition.
The works comprehensively reflect all aspects of social life, culture, natural landscapes of the country and people of Vietnam. Many works have high value in terms of content and form of expression, bringing deep emotions to viewers.
The exhibition is held every two years with the purpose of summarizing and evaluating the development of art photography in two years (2011-2012), gathering forces, encouraging photographers nationwide to enthusiastically explore, create, and introduce many works of valuable ideological and artistic content to the art-loving public.
The exhibition will run until October 17./.
