Opening of the exhibition on cultural and heritage topics in Nghe An

On the morning of November 22, at Nghe An Museum, Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports organized the opening ceremony of the topics: "Phu Tho - Nghe An, connecting heritage lands"; Exhibition "Light sculpture art"; "Ao dai and heritage" and Lotus and Calligraphy Art Space.

Attending the program were comrades: Nguyen Dang Chuong - Director of the Vietnam Cultural and Art Exhibition Center; Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An; leaders of the Hung Vuong Museum (Phu Tho), Hue Museum.

Phu Tho, the origin of the nation with the sacred Hung Temple, is a land associated with the history of the formation and development of the Vietnamese nation, considered the birthplace of the Hung Kings. Phu Tho is proud to be the "ancestral land", the cradle of culture and tradition, a place that preserves manycultural heritageintangible cultural heritage of the nation.

Nghe An is the homeland of beloved President Ho Chi Minh, a place that contains many cultural sediments from the time of Hung Vuong founding the country, a place that has produced many talented people for the country. Although the geographical distance is far apart, the two lands of Phu Tho - Nghe An are closely connected from legend to history, creating a connection between the two lands.

The exhibition “Phu Tho - Nghe An, connecting heritage lands” displays more than 200 valuable images and artifacts introduced under two themes. Theme 1: Hung King worship and Phu Tho Xoan singing introduces to the public two typical heritages of Phu Tho province.

Topic 2:Folk songsNghe Tinh - from traditional sources to contemporary life, with more than 100 vivid images and documents, partly depicting the origin and development process of Vi and Giam folk songs and spreading the vitality of the heritage in the community.

Within the framework of the Exhibition “Colors of Cultural Heritage, Vietnam’s Famous Landscapes and Traditional Craft Products” chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Nghe An province and related units organized in Nghe An province, Hue Museum of Fine Arts participated in displaying the Ao Dai collection with the theme “Ao Dai and Heritage”.

Also at Nghe An Museum, the Organizing Committee coordinated to display 2 unique and novel works by young author Bui Van Tu - the first person in Vietnam to pursue a unique art form called "Light sculpture". This is a combination of traditional sculpture on handmade materials and created by light.

The first work on display is “Memories of Lotus Village”, through the art of light sculpture, the shadow of each leaf appears like a vivid picture, deeply carving the image of the familiar Lotus Village, reminding of the homeland, of love and respect for President Ho Chi Minh. The second work is “Aspiration for Vietnam” which recreates the image of President Ho Chi Minh in his youth with bright eyes, full of faith and aspiration.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also displayed and introduced Lotus calligraphy works combined with poems byPresident Ho Chi Minhas a tribute and expression of the heart of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, a Hanoi resident, always grateful to the beloved leader of the nation. The exhibition is a unique and interesting meeting place for those who love lotus, love calligraphy and love Vietnamese culture.
