Opening of the exhibition "Connecting World Heritage" in Ninh Binh

On January 22, at Bai Dinh Pagoda, Gia Vien District (Ninh Binh Province), the Trang An Landscape Complex Management Board held the opening of an exhibition introducing Vietnam's World Heritage Sites with the theme "Connecting World Heritage".

The exhibition is part of a series of events celebrating Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage and responding to the 2015 National Tourism Year with the theme "Connecting Heritage Regions".

The exhibition is divided into 8 areas displaying artifacts, art photos and documents introducing the beauty and typical values ​​of 8 world heritages of Vietnam, including the Central Relic Site of Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Ha Long Bay, Ho Dynasty Citadel, Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary, Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, Hue Monuments Complex and Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park.

Director of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex Management Board Nguyen Duc Long said the exhibition is an opportunity to promote and introduce images, typical cultural, historical and natural values ​​as well as tourism products and services of 8 world heritages of Vietnam to domestic and international tourists.

At the same time, the exhibition is also a place for exchange, connection, promotion and sharing of experiences in the management, preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values ​​between regions.

The exhibition "Connecting World Heritage" runs until January 24.
