Towards the 60th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10) and in preparation for the 8th Fine Arts Congress, on the afternoon of September 22, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association opened the art exhibition "Calling Autumn" of the Senior Members Club of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association.

The exhibition displays 123 works by 88 authors with many rich genres, diverse in style, concise in content. The materials of the works are from oil paint, lacquer, pigment, watercolor, Chinese ink, sculpture, graphic paintings, with liberal expressive techniques... The content of the works shows the hearts of the elderly artists before the beautiful scenery of the homeland, praising the workers, and daily activities.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, artist Le Thanh, Chairman of the Senior Artists Club of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, said: Although at a rare age, senior artists still work in art, love their profession, love life, are passionate about creation, and are still moved by life. “This year, I see that the senior artists have very young works, close to reality. I rate this year's exhibition as very good, serious, spacious and polite. We hope that with this momentum, the artists will continue to try to do well in the following years.”
