Opening of Vietnamese Cultural Week in Venezuela

On January 20, at the Casa Bosset cultural center, a photo exhibition opened within the framework of the Vietnam Cultural Week organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela in the state of Mérida to help people of this South American country better understand the country and people of Vietnam.

About 80 photos from the exhibition will be on display until January 27 at the cultural center, where people interested in Vietnamese culture will also have the opportunity to admire unique Vietnamese dolls and traditional musical instruments.

On this occasion, the television channel of the University of Los Andes (ULA TV) will show the films "King of the Dump" by director Do Minh Tuan, "Three Seasons" by director Tony Bui, "The Scent of Green Papaya" by director Tran Anh Hung and some Vietnamese documentaries.

Also within the framework of this important cultural event, on January 21, at the headquarters of the Mérida state government, Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Ngo Tien Dung had a talk about Ho Chi Minh's ideology./.
