V-League 2015 Opening: Already hot before kick-off
Football fans are eagerly awaiting the opening matches of the V-League with many signs of change from the teams…
There are not many fluctuations in the transfer market like many previous chaotic times, but the national championship has its own attraction in the beginning.
Young players have a place to show their talent
Unlike previous years, this season's V-League has many teams using "homegrown" players, partly because of limited budget, and partly because the clubs want to create a place for young players to perform when foreign players are limited to only two.
The most prominent among these is the group of players who have just turned 20 and graduated from the HA Gia Lai Arsenal JMG Academy. Coach Guillaume, after more than seven years of "teaching young players", will inevitably feel a sense of confusion when leading his students to play in the V-League for the first time. However, HA Gia Lai still caused the most excitement in the opening match when Guillaume's students still had the echoes of their time wearing the U-19 Vietnam shirt.
The two rookies Dong Thap and Khanh Hoa also have many young players in their squad and only set a modest target of staying in the league, while SL Nghe An, who are living within their means with their inherited squad, have the potential to cause a big surprise.

Last month, the U-19 team wearing HA Gia Lai's shirt to prepare for V-League lost 0-2 to Khanh Hoa because they could not stand the style of play that forced players to play all over the field and blocked the lines. |
The trend of many other teams is not to spend money to buy star players but mainly take advantage of available resources and have played together for a long time, such as SHB Da Nang, DT Long An and to some extent Hai Phong, Quang Nam, Thanh Hoa, Than Quang Ninh, Hanoi T&T.
Only B. Binh Duong is still loyal to the campaign of hunting for players from all over the world, including many national players. Or Can Tho is restructuring the squad and is forced to spend money to compensate for the shortcomings.
Anyway, the new V-League season is still worth waiting for because of the order and awareness of many teams that used to waste money for purposes other than football.
V-League will be fairer play
The problem of violence and negativity on the football field after the 2014 season, which caused many headaches for Vietnamese football, will not likely exist as recently the tournament organizers have taken strong measures.
The example of nine players of V. Ninh Binh being permanently suspended and six players of Dong Nai being brought to trial will certainly limit the bad thoughts of many colleagues. In fact, over the past three seasons, when foreign bookmakers flooded the Internet with their bright lights, it was inevitable that those involved in the match would be shaken.
Meanwhile, players often have many “social relationships” so they are easily lured and bribed, leading them astray. This season’s V-League will be different because no one dares to foolishly gamble and lose their career and honor.
Besides, violence and bad behavior on the field are not likely to recur. This is largely guaranteed thanks to the referee training before the ball rolls, which is considered thorough and serious. Moreover, VPF also has strict sanctions, but the important thing is that the players themselves know how to respect the feet of their colleagues more.
Wait and see!
Focus on the mountain town V-League kicks off and matches worth watching. All the fans' attention is focused on the mountain town of Pleiku with the debut of young players from HA Gia Lai hosting Khanh Hoa (VTV6 live at 5 p.m.). The two young teams met in a friendly match a month ago and it was a surprise when Khanh Hoa defeated the home team Pleiku 2-0. However, coach Guillaume still believes his players will reap a first victory to create momentum for a new conquest. On the contrary, coach Vo Dinh Tan of the away team predicts this match will be a draw with a high score. At Binh Duong Stadium, the home team is rated much higher than the rookie Dong Thap (BTV2, VTC3 live at 5 p.m.) despite the absence of striker Cong Vinh. However, it will be difficult for there to be a rain of goals when the home team still shows signs of slowing down while Dong Thap is forced to defend tightly to avoid a heavy loss. Other matches of round 1 of V-League: Can Tho - Quang Nam (4 p.m.), Dong Nai - Than Quang Ninh (DN2 live at 5 p.m.), Hanoi T&T - DT Long An (5 p.m.), SL Nghe An - Hai Phong (4:30 p.m.), Thanh Hoa - SHB Da Nang (BĐTV live at 4 p.m.). |
