(Baonghean.vn) - Favorable weather, along with the conversion from trawling to purse seining, resulted in seafood exploitation output in Dien Chau in the first 6 months of the year reaching more than 23,300 tons.,highest in the past 5 years.

Currently, Dien Chau district has 217 offshore fishing vessels. In the first 6 months of the year, fishermen have exploited more than 23,300 tons, equal to 62.9% of the plan, an increase of 37.3% (equivalent to nearly 8,700 tons) compared to the same period last year.
