Illegal fishing at sea

(Baonghean.vn) -On August 29th, Lach Quen Checkpoint, Quynh Thuan Border Guard Post (148) discovered a vessel with license plate: NA-93053-TS owned by Mr. Nguyen Van Ve (born in 1967, residing in Phong Thai village, Tien Thuy commune, Quynh Luu district) using an expired sea exploitation license without re-registering.

The Quỳnh Thuận Border Guard Station imposed an administrative fine of 2.1 million VND on the vehicle owner, to be paid into the state budget, and also required the vehicle to be registered when operating at sea, as per regulations.
